As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining various sheet metal components used in HVAC systems, roofing, and other industrial applications.

Job Description

This role requires precision in cutting, shaping, and joining metal materials to meet project specifications, ensuring durability and safety. You will work with a variety of tools, including shears, presses, and welding equipment, to create custom metal pieces.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install sheet metal: Cut, shape, and install sheet metal for HVAC systems, roofing, and other applications.

• Read blueprints and technical drawings: Interpret specifications and diagrams to ensure accurate measurements and installations.

• Ensure safety compliance: Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to avoid accidents and ensure quality workmanship.

• Perform maintenance and repairs: Inspect and repair sheet metal systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Certification and Training: Completion of an apprenticeship or relevant training program, and any required certifications in sheet metal work.

• Experience: Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repair, ideally in HVAC, roofing, or construction.

• Technical Skills: Proficient with tools such as shears, presses, and welding equipment, along with the ability to interpret blueprints.
