Danny North is the proud owner/operator of Northstar Heating & Cooling. Danny is an outgoing, honest and hardworking family man that has had the love for the HVAC industry for over the last 25 years. With being born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Danny has grown to know all the tricks of the trade through the heating and cooling seasons to ensure nothing but the best for his customers day in and day out.

In December my wife Ronda, with a failing 20 year... old furnace, entered a contest on the NorthStar Heating and Cooling Facebook page not thinking that we would win, but lo and behold we did! Danny called wife to inform her that she had won, and also informed her sceptical husband (myself) that there would be absolutely no associated costs. Danny and his wonderful team came to measure up in the first part of March, and scheduled the install for today, 13th March. Not only did they install a brand new furnace, they installed a new smart thermostat, venting, ducts, and they will be returning to tune in the A/C unit. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism and pride of work that Danny and his team provided, the instruction, and tips for prolonging the life of the furnace, and just the general positive interaction this team provides! Going forward, NorthStar will be the only provider that I will use, and best of all they are local, operating out of NW Calgary. A fantastic experience throughout!Edit to add:Northstar returned at the end of May to complete the remaining tasks related to the installation. Instillation of a chimney liner and roof work.Once again complete professionalism, after their cleanup one would not know they had been in to do work. I cannot recommend this company enough!read more

Northstar replaced two furnaces. Quote worked for... us, without bells and whistles we didn’t need. Installed them in one day, very good installation. They had previously done good repair work for us.read more

This company deserves 10⭐️. We... just had a new high-efficiency furnace and central AC installed by North Star heating and cooling , and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The installation crew arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and took great care not to damage my walls or floors. They finished ahead of schedule and left the basement spotless. Danny took the time to show me how everything works. The system runs incredibly well, and our home is perfectly comfortable. Highly recommend!read more

Just got our new A/C unit installed today, and... from the very beginning Danny was incredible. He showed up on time, explained all of our options clearly, and was polite, informative, and very personable throughout the entire process.When it came time for installation, his crew also arrived on time and were extremely professional. They answered all of our questions, walked us through how to operate the A/C unit, explained the warranty details, and made sure everything was fully understood before they left.They also cleaned up after themselves and didn’t leave a single mess behind.We honestly can’t recommend this company enough.
